When they said “handmade ramen bar” we really didn’t expect them to literally knead us some dough, run it through a spaghetti/ramen maker (complete with a handheld power drill for efficiency), and cook it in noodle skimmers. In what was an impressively comprehensive setup, complete with dried shrimp, mushrooms, seaweed, tofu, and an enviable selection of sauces, fellows made their custom bowls of ramen in mushroom-based or savoury broth and even made their own egg-drop soup! Some fun improvisation is always appreciated (see the coke bottle rolling pins) and it made for a great culinary experience.
